The Seattle City Council authorized the Director of the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) to acquire a parcel of land from Judith Strader Enriquez. This acquisition is for the NE 130th Street and NE 125th Street Mobility and Safety project, aimed at establishing new right-of-way to improve multimodal connectivity to the future Pinehurst Link light rail station, scheduled to open in 2026. Not proceeding with this acquisition would necessitate project redesign and could lead to delays.
