The property, zoned C-2, was previously licensed for liquor sales and may have been operating under an interim permit. Initially, staff provided no recommendation pending the conclusion of the 20-day public comment period. After the public comment period concluded without protests or support letters, staff revised its recommendation to approval. The applicant, Andrea Lewkowitz, stated that the hotel is committed to upholding the highest standards of compliance and will train staff in responsible alcohol sales. The 60-day processing limit for this application was August 2, 2025.
