The City of Phoenix City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Joseph Painting Company, Inc. dba JPCI Services for Design-Bid-Build Services for the Large Diameter Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Grade 5 & 4 Manholes - South project. The project aims to rehabilitate 111 active sanitary sewer manholes or structures identified with a NASSCO Structural Condition Grade of four or higher. The scope of work includes providing all materials, equipment, and labor for manhole rehabilitation, installation of corrosion coating systems, structural inserts, and liner repairs. The selection process was an Invitation for Bids, with JPCI Services selected as the lowest-priced, responsive bidder at an initial bid amount of $4,767,715. A 10 percent contingency was requested, bringing the total agreement value not to exceed $5,244,486.50. The agreement term is 990 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Funding is available through the Water Services Department's Capital Improvement Program budget.
