The Phoenix City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into contracts with eleven real estate firms to establish a Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for Real Estate Sales and Brokerage Services. These services are for the Finance Department's Real Estate Division to facilitate the sales, leasing, and disposition of City-owned property. The assignments with vendors will be on an as-needed basis, based on the qualifications required for each specific property. The procurement process involved a Request for Qualifications (RFQu 25-0516) where eleven responsive and responsible offerors were selected based on their experience, qualifications, and market knowledge. The contracts are set to begin around July 1, 2025, for a five-year term with no extension options. This arrangement is revenue-generating, as the selected firms will be compensated from the proceeds of the sale or lease of city properties.
