The City of Phoenix Planning and Development Department conditionally approved the abandonment of an existing 46-foot-wide drainage easement at 5750 West Baseline Road. The easement, recorded in Maricopa County Recorder’s document no. 2003-0542167, will be replaced by a 16-foot-wide piped storm drain easement relocated outside a new multi-use trail easement as part of updated site engineering. Stipulations for final approval include the approval of Grading Plan CPGD 2405503 and the concurrent recording of ABND 250002 with Final Plat 250011. Staff from the Civil, Water Services, and Site Planning Departments have reviewed and recommended approval, with no additional stipulations from Water Services and no comments from Site Planning. The conditional approval expires March 6, 2027 if stipulations are not completed. Upon completion, City Council will formally adopt the abandonment and record the document with Maricopa County.
