It also covers site expansion, installation of new water lines for fire hydrants, and demolition of the existing lift station. The project, located near Ray Road and I-10, is valued at up to $44,162,034.72 and will proceed over a 960-day contract term. Although the bid exceeded the estimated project cost, it was deemed reasonable and remains within the approved budget. The project will be funded through the city’s Water Services Capital Improvement Program budget.
