The City of Phoenix has authorized a development agreement with PHX MC PROPERTIES, LLC for the construction of a new hotel at the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Adams Street. The agreement stipulates the upsizing of approximately 230 feet of a six-inch water main to a 12-inch water main along Adams Street. The developer will provide a one-time cash contribution of $250,000, which will be added to the City’s Water Main Replacement Program to fund the upgrade within 10 years.
This infrastructure upgrade supports the development of a new hotel in downtown Phoenix and ensures the area has the necessary water capacity for future growth and development.
