Dr. Wylie, born in 1956 and raised in South Philadelphia, was an active member of her church, serving in various ministries and ordained as a Reverend in 2017. She founded the ministry "Blessed to Be a Blessing," which organized community events and giveaways. A champion of education, she established the Mary Wylie Scholarship Fund and authored a book titled "Reasons Why Women Suffer in Silence." The resolution acknowledges her lifelong commitment to faith and community service, ensuring her legacy is permanently recognized.
