A variance was granted to exceed the maximum front yard setback by up to 16.2 feet. The development plan includes binding elements such as tree preservation, buffering, and screening adjacent to residential areas, and requires no outdoor music or truck idling within 200 feet of single-family residences. A home on 5862 New Cut Road is proposed to be removed, which historic preservation staff determined does not meet thresholds for preservation.
