Metro Council approved a resolution authorizing the Jefferson County Attorney to initiate condemnation proceedings for Parcel No. 4 along Aiken Road and Arnold Palmer Boulevard as part of the roundabout project. The condemned property consists of a 0.001-acre fee simple parcel (48 sq ft) and a 0.056-acre temporary easement (2,424 sq ft) detailed in Exhibit A. Metro was unable to acquire the land through good faith negotiations, so the resolution grants eminent domain authority under KRS 416.560 et seq. The project was designed by Metro Public Works and is necessary for public use and traffic improvements.
