The Louisville Metro Planning Commission recommended approval for a rezoning of approximately 0.38 acres located at 5004 Camp Ground Road and 4100 Bubbling Over Drive from R-4 Single Family Residential to C-2 Commercial. The proposal involves utilizing an existing detached garage for auto repair and constructing an additional 1,200 square-foot structure to expand the auto repair use, while the existing single-family residence will remain on the property. The commission also recommended approval of a waiver to permit a 5-foot encroachment into the required 25-foot property perimeter Landscape Buffer Area. The motion to recommend approval passed by a vote of 10-0 during the Planning Commission Public Hearing on March 20, 2025. Staff found the proposed zoning change and waiver to be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
