This decision vacates a 25-foot-wide unnamed and unimproved road located east of Rehl Road and south of South Pope Lick Road in Louisville Metro, containing approximately 25,132.75 square feet. The Legislative Council adopted Ordinance O-067-25 to close this public right-of-way subject to all existing utility and other easements. The closure was recommended by the Planning Commission on February 20, 2025, and the Land Development & Transportation Committee placed it on its consent agenda following technical review and agency coordination. Adequate public facilities were confirmed to serve adjacent properties, and necessary easements or relocations for utilities will be provided by the applicant, Hameron Properties III, LLC. No properties will be dispossessed of access to services or infrastructure as a result of the closure. The vacated land will be integrated into a major preliminary subdivision plan under case 24-MSUB-0009. All costs associated with the street closure, including utility relocations, are the responsibility of the applicant/developer. The ordinance takes effect upon passage and approval.
