The Los Angeles Housing and Homelessness Committee recommended approving an additional $1,552,139.57 from Proposition HHH funds for the PATH Villas Hollywood Supportive Housing Project. This allocation increases the project's total Prop HHH commitment to $13,872,239.57. PATH Villas Hollywood is a 60-unit permanent supportive housing development comprising studio, one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom manager's unit. Fifty-nine units are restricted for low-income households (below 50% Area Median Income) and receive operating subsidies through Project Based Vouchers. The additional funds are sought to cover increased costs for Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure (STI) and Transit Related Amenities (TRA) components, which are city responsibilities under the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program. The city faced difficulties front-funding these components, leading to potential negative impacts on future funding competitiveness if not completed by the December 31, 2025 deadline. The committee's approval was a recommendation forwarded to the City Council for final consideration. Bids for the infrastructure work were received, and the Bureau of Engineering is determining the final contractor.
