Ordinance 2025-521 approves an application for a waiver of minimum required road frontage (WRF-25-08) for property owned by Regina Wellington at 0 Joda Lane East. The waiver reduces the minimum road frontage requirement from 80 feet to 41 feet in the Zoning District Residential Rural-Acre (RR-Acre). The Planning and Development Department provided an advisory recommendation, and the Land Use and Zoning Committee held a public hearing. The City Council reviewed the Staff Report and approved the waiver with a vote of 17-0. The Council found that there are practical or economic difficulties in strictly adhering to the regulation, the request is not intended to circumvent regulations, it will not diminish property values or alter the area's character, it ensures adequate vehicular access, and it is not detrimental to public health, safety, or welfare. The waiver takes effect upon signature by the Council President and Council Secretary.
