The Denver City Council passed an ordinance to relinquish a Permanent Non-Exclusive Easement located at 2100 South Josephine Street. This action was requested by Confluent Development on behalf of the property owner, CD-MS (Observatory Park) LLC. The easement, originally established for a 2017 development plan that was never constructed, became obsolete after a new plan was approved in 2020 which relocated a planned underground stormwater vault. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure determined the easement no longer served a public purpose, and after coordination with multiple city and external agencies, no objections were raised. The council's approval officially removes the encumbrance from the property.
