The Denver City Council passed an ordinance approving the 2026 annual cost assessment for the South Downing Street Pedestrian Mall Local Maintenance District. The total budget of $25,000 is for the continuing care, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of the mall. Of this amount, $24,993.64 will be assessed against the real properties that benefit from the mall, with the City and County of Denver covering the remaining $6.36.
