The City and County of Denver has approved a Land Acquisition Ordinance to acquire 664 square feet of property needed for the Florida Avenue and Quebec Way Mini Roundabout Project. The acquisition includes fee title and easement interests from two residential Homeowners Association (HOA) properties to facilitate the construction. The project is located in Council District 6 and is intended to optimize mobility for all modes of transportation, including enhancing bicycle safety. The land being acquired consists of 147 square feet at 1475 South Quebec Way and 517 square feet at 1548 South Trenton Court Rear. The ordinance grants the city the authority to acquire the necessary property interests through negotiated purchase or condemnation. The council bill, CB 25-1768, was passed with a final action on December 3, 2025.
