The Denver City Council approved a $3 million on-call professional services contract with Alta Planning + Design, Inc. The contract, which has a three-year term with an option to extend to five years, will support the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI). Alta Planning will provide multimodal design services for various capital projects across the city, including the design of bikeways, pedestrian improvements, traffic calming treatments, and transit enhancements. The agreement is intended to supplement the city's existing design and planning teams on an as-needed basis and includes a commitment to 18% M/WBE participation.
