The City of Denver has approved a 3-year, $4.7 million on-call professional services contract with Fehr & Peers. The contract, with an option to extend to 5 years, is for multimodal design and transportation planning services to support the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure's (DOTI) capital projects citywide. Fehr & Peers will provide expertise in areas such as bikeway and pedestrian infrastructure design, traffic calming, transit improvements, and transportation planning. The agreement is intended to supplement the city's in-house design, planning, and construction engineering staff as needed. The contract has specific M/WBE participation goals of 18% for Multimodal Design and 20% for Multimodal and Transportation Planning.
