The Denver City Council approved a three-year, $50 million on-call contract with Hamon Infrastructure, Inc. for large civil construction services. Hamon is one of eight firms selected for a pool of contractors with a total capacity of $400 million, intended to support the delivery of various transportation and infrastructure projects. The contract will be used for improvements within the city's right-of-way, including roadway construction, bike lanes, sidewalks, traffic signals, bridge work, and storm/sanitary sewer construction. Authorization for specific projects will be issued through work orders on an as-needed basis, and the agreement includes a 12% Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) goal.
