The Denver City Council approved a three-year, on-call contract with Graham Contracting Ltd. for large general civil construction services, with a maximum value of $50,000,000. This is one of eight such contracts awarded from a pool of nineteen applicants, part of a larger $400 million city-wide initiative to streamline infrastructure projects. The contract will be used by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) to execute a wide variety of improvements within the city's right-of-way. Projects may include roadway and intersection construction, improvements to bike lanes and sidewalks, pavement rehabilitation, traffic signal and lighting installation, bridge work, and storm/sanitary sewer construction. Authorization for specific work and commitment of funds will be issued via work orders on an as-needed basis.
