The Denver City Council approved a three-year, $50 million on-call contract with Flatiron Dragados Constructors, Inc. for large-scale civil construction services. This agreement is part of a larger $400 million initiative by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) to establish a pool of eight qualified prime general contractors. These contractors will be available to bid on and construct a wide variety of infrastructure improvements throughout the city. The scope of work includes roadway and intersection construction, pavement rehabilitation, bridge work, improvements to bike lanes and sidewalks, and storm and sanitary sewer construction. This contract does not commit or guarantee any funds but makes the firm eligible to compete for work orders on an as-needed basis.
