The Denver City Council approved a fifth amendment to its intergovernmental agreement with the University of Colorado Hospital Authority (UCHA), increasing the contract by $281,520 for a new total of $2,918,230. The agreement funds comprehensive care, treatment, and supportive services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS within the Denver Transitional Grant Area (TGA). These services are funded through the federal Ryan White Part A grant program. The amendment does not alter the contract term, which runs from March 1, 2023, to February 28, 2026. UCHA will continue to provide critical services including case management, early intervention services, mental health services, and outpatient ambulatory health services.
