The Denver City Council approved an $850,000 contract with Waste Management of Colorado, Inc. to provide comprehensive trash collection and recycling services for major Denver Arts & Venues locations. The agreement covers the Denver Performing Arts Complex, McNichols Civic Center, Denver Coliseum, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Sculpture Park. The contract is set to run from December 15, 2025, through December 14, 2030, ensuring waste management for both regular operations and special events at these key public venues. Waste Management will be responsible for 24/7/365 collection of solid waste, recycling, and compost, and will provide monthly reports to track waste diversion.
