The Denver City Council approved a three-year, $2,768,062.50 contract with The Community Firm (TCF) to provide free legal services to low-income households facing eviction. The agreement, managed by the Department of Housing Stability (HOST), is designed to serve approximately 3,099 unduplicated households through the end of 2028. To be eligible, residents must have a household income at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). This contract is part of a larger city initiative to fund legal assistance programs and mitigate the rising number of eviction filings, which have surpassed pre-pandemic levels. The final decision was adopted by the council on November 17, 2025.
