This resolution amends a contract with Volunteers of America Colorado Branch Green Willow Project, increasing the total by $6,663.00 to $1,629,663.00. The funds are allocated for a cost of living adjustment to continue providing rental assistance through a Rapid Rehousing model. The program offers wraparound support services to approximately 30 homeless households, as defined by HUD, who have experienced or are fleeing domestic violence. Services include housing navigation, case management, mental health referrals, advocacy, benefit acquisition, employment/education connections, childcare referrals, and short-to-medium term rental assistance. The program utilizes Housing First and Critical Time Intervention models to transition participants into safe and secure permanent housing across scattered sites in Denver. VOA also coordinates with clinical providers for in-home therapeutic services and legal assistance.
