The Denver City Council is scheduled to review the Mayor’s appointment of James De Sena to the Old South Gaylord Business Improvement District (BID) Board. The appointment is for a term from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2028, or until a successor is duly appointed. The Old South Gaylord BID, established in 1990, is responsible for managing the maintenance of street renovations completed in 1992 along South Gaylord Street between East Tennessee and East Mississippi Avenues. The BID is funded by a mill levy paid by commercial property owners within the district. James De Sena is a property owner and former business owner who participated in forming the original BID and served on its board for over ten years.
