This ordinance amends an existing intergovernmental agreement with the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District d/b/a Mile High Flood District to add $740,000 in city funds and $750,000 in MHFD funds for a revised agreement total of $1,600,000. The funding supports the design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements at Harvard Gulch and the replacement of the closed pedestrian bridge on the Harvard Gulch Trail in DeBoer Park in Council District 6. The amendment does not extend the contract term, which remains three years after final payment. The additional city funds include $180,000 from DPR and $560,000 from DOTI, supplementing initial DPR funds. MHFD’s contribution increases from $10,000 to $760,000. This project includes storm pipe upgrades from York Street to the outfall in Harvard Gulch and structural bridge replacement. Key subcontractors include Michael Baker International for design and JHL Constructors for construction.
