On April 7, 2025, the Denver City Council adopted a resolution approving a $2.7 million, three-year agreement with Urban Peak Denver to provide rapid rehousing services for youth households experiencing homelessness across the city. The contract will run through December 31, 2027 and will serve 30 youth households per year using an annual budget of $900,000. Services include housing navigation, financial assistance for rent and utilities, case management, and referrals for mental health, healthcare, and employment support. The program prioritizes youth between ages 18–24 referred through the OneHome coordinated entry system and is funded through HOME TBRA and the City’s General Fund. This agreement builds upon Urban Peak’s track record in youth housing stabilization and supports HOST’s broader mission to ensure all Denver residents are healthy, housed, and connected.
This contract directly addresses youth homelessness by supporting one of Denver’s most vulnerable populations with stable housing and comprehensive wraparound services. The city’s investment aligns with long-term goals for equitable housing access and youth development.
