This ordinance approves the Fourth Amendatory Agreement between the City and County of Denver and the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District to add $3,000,000 in Wastewater enterprise funds and $2,250,000 in MHFD funds under contract DOTI-202474437-04 for the Globeville Levee Project. The project will design and construct approximately 7,900 linear feet of drainage and flood control improvements along the South Platte River from 31st Street to East 50th Avenue. Improvements include enhanced flood protection, drainage upgrades, habitat restoration, water quality measures, and recreational amenities. The original contract amount of $15,468,816.59 is increased by $5,250,000 to a new total of $20,718,816.59. There is no change to the contract term, which remains through three years after construction. The amendment was approved by consent in committee on June 25, 2024 and by City Council on July 2, 2024.
