The City and County of Denver approved an ordinance designating certain properties along Morrison Road between West Alameda Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard for public use. The project will enhance pedestrian and traffic safety, improve accessibility, and modernize infrastructure in Council District 3. Improvements include new sidewalks, upgraded curb ramps, intersection modifications, traffic signal upgrades, and two pedestrian plazas. The ordinance allows property acquisitions through negotiation or condemnation to facilitate the project’s completion.
