This ordinance amends a previously passed ordinance (O2025-0017489 on June 18, 2025) which reclassified the zoning map for 6241 N. Rockwell Street. The amendment specifically corrects an instruction in the original ordinance that mistakenly included an incorrect portion of N. Rockwell Street. The amendment changes the RS2 Residential Single-Unit (Detached-House) District symbols and indications to RS-3 Residential Single-Unit (Detached-House) District for a specific area bound by a line 164.26 feet south of and parallel to West Wabansia Rosemont Avenue, a public alley next east of and parallel to North Rockwell Street, and a line 197.26 feet south of and parallel to West Wabansia Rosemont Avenue, and North Rockwell Street. The Department of Planning and Development will revert the affected portions of Map No. 5-I to their prior state and then re-implement the corrected amendments.
