The Chicago Zoning Ordinance has been amended to reclassify the area bound by South Emerald Avenue, the alley next north of and parallel to West 95th Street, South Lowe Avenue, and West 95th Street. The previous zoning designations of RS-2 (Residential Single-Unit Detached House), RS-3 (Residential Single-Unit Detached House), and B2-3 (Neighborhood Mixed-Use District) have been changed to RT-4 (Residential Two-Flat, Townhouse and Multi-Unit District). This change allows for increased residential density in the area.
